Think Outside the House, with CATH and Baraboo Parks & Rec

Think outside the house!  Join Children Are The Hope, Inc. and the Baraboo Parks and Recreation Department this summer for some fun in the sun… and rivers!  And prairies!  And wetlands!  And the Ochsner Park Zoo!  This program is offered in conjunction with the National Wildlife Federation’s “10 Million Kids Outdoors” campaign which aims to “create a generation of happier, healthier children with more awareness and connection to the natural world”. Our Lead Instructor, Korie Klink is a local environmental educator and the founder & Executive Director of “Children Are The Hope, Inc”. This program will explore the Baraboo parks and the habitats they feature, including rivers, forests, and prairies/grasslands. This program will integrate science and art, and encourage children to engage with their local environments in new and exciting ways.
